The Kortright Centre is a conservation area not far from Aunt Mary's house. It is expansive and beautiful, containing large forested areas, as well as some small lakes and marshland, and a creek. It is home to many animals, and is also an area that produces limited amounts of maple syrup. It is also a popular spot for field trips and dog-walking.
