Sechelt, B.C. - November 2003

Went to Sechelt to visit Nathan's family. We had to take a ferry to get there, and I was very excited to see and touch the ocean! Sechelt is a town on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia and it is very beautiful. We stayed at a wonderful bed & breakfast place, with a huge main house and several small 1-room cabins. The pics below with the deck and all the rocks on the shore are on that property - the house is the one with all the windows. Nathan's Aunt has a house further up the hill (the one with the cars in front) with a wonderful tree-top view of the inlet. We also visited a local rainforest park - it was only 4 degrees but you can't tell from the luscious green foliage and cascading waterfalls. We would love to retire there someday!
