Spruce Grove, AB - November 2006

Went to Spruce Grove (just outside Edmonton) with my parents to visit friends of theirs - Calvin and Pat Nixon. Pat is an excellent seamstress in her free time, and she graciously agreed to alter my bridesmaid dress (for Erin's wedding) for me. No pics of that, but I did get great pics of their acerage the next morning just after sunrise. Pat has a horse (April - the brown one I am petting), and they board two other horses (white - Cadmar; brown - don't remember name). Their dog's name is Ricky and he loved the attention I lavished on him!
