We went on the Havana Day Tour (by bus) this time - lots of great architecture and people to see in the capital. During the morning we stopped at El Capitolio, the Romeo and Juliet cigar factory (no pics), the Plaza de la Revolucion, the Necropolis Cristobal Colon (a huge, famous cemetery), and had lunch at Gato Tuerto. In the afternoon we toured Old Havana, and took a guided walking tour through several of the squares, with the highlight being the Cathedral of Saint Christopher. After that we sat at a cafe along the seawall. All in all a great trip! For pics of the Cuban countryside on the way there and back, see the 'Around Cuba' link.
